Last night I picked up this book at my local Community Center. It was free from the local County Health Department. The book, The Summer The Town Bit Back, is a cute children’s book about protecting yourself from West Nile Virus. As a mom, I am a whole lot more likely to pick up a free book for my little one than a brochure about protecting myself from West Nile Virus. This is brilliant not only because the medium is easily spreadable (I picked up a few extras for nieces and nephews), but also because getting this information out saves the County Health Department’s bottom line. Brilliant!
